Educator's Strategy in Stimulating Speech Delay for Children with Mild Mental Retardation

When communicating with the surrounding environment, speech delay or disorder generally occurs in normal children special needs language development disorders. Children mental retardation tend to have various disorders, including delay, which requires treatment as soon possible right strategy and stimulation. This study aims describe educator strategies stimulating mild retarded disabled who experience delay. uses a descriptive approach through case studies of child category having disorder. Data collection techniques used observation interviews conducted directly at SLB-C Dharma Rena Ring Putra I Yogyakarta. At same time, data analysis technique Miles Huberman models stages, namely reduction, presentation, concluding, verification by testing wettability using triangulation techniques. The results show that disorders can develop optimally educators provide stimulations. findings this are aspects significantly influence dealing disorder, parenting parents, therapy activities, understanding children's communicating, exciting learning media videos pictures.
